SBA Minnesota Recognizes Frandsen Bank as Large Lender of the Year

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Minnesota District (SBA Minnesota)^? honored 10 lenders throughout the state, including Frandsen Bank & Trust, for their commitment to helping small businesses succeed at the Minnesota Small Business Lenders Conference on September 25, 2025.

Frandsen Bank was named SBA Minnesota’s Top Lender of the year in the large bank category (>$1B in assets). Top lenders, including Frandsen Bank, are recognized as having the highest participation in SBA-backed loan programs.

“This is the third year in a row we’ve received this honor,” said Dennis Welch, Frandsen Bank SBA division manager. “It’s a great honor and reflects our commitment to partnering with small businesses in our communities to ensure they have access to the funding they need to grow their operations.”

SBA loans are government-backed loans designed to help small businesses succeed. These loans often feature lower down payments, longer terms, and flexible use of funds.
